For a partner church, Love INC...
Helps the church "own" its ministry to
people in need, since Love INC assists the church in
reaching out to the needy in an organized manner
Helps generate untapped volunteer resources
that
already exist in the local church to meet needs both within and
outside the church
Screens needs for the church as to
their nature, extent and
legitimacy; this analysis determines what the real need actually is
Helps churches avoid duplicating services already
available in the community
Discovers if people requesting assistance are
going from church to church, acquiring duplicate donations for the
same need or for a fictitious need; Love INC discourages this by
meeting legitimate needs or by
uncovering fraudulent requests
Provides long-term, self-help solutions
for people
who are chronically dependent or who have multiple needs

refusing to assist people outside of the congregation or wasting
