Computer Ministry
Individuals, churches and businesses in our area donate
used computers to Love INC. Love INC takes computers that are
Pentium II or better and cleans, refurbishes, quality tests and ensures
they work well. A basic software package is installed and the
computers are given to needy students, the disabled, the elderly and
eligible families/adults.
Several "techies" - volunteers from partner churches - offer
their time and skills to fix up the donated computers and make sure they run well.
A local
business, Revelation Industries, donated the first workshop space for our
Computer Ministry, making the ministry possible.
The workshop currently resides in space donated by Paradigm Software.
The shop includes storage, a workshop room and space
where the computers are refurbished and prepared before being given to
their new owners.
Love INC seeks to involve church volunteers, utilizing
their gifts and talents, to minister to material, emotional and spiritual
needs of Gallatin County residents.
The Computer Ministry is one way
Love INC involves and coordinates volunteers from several churches to
minister to a material and educational need of our neighbors.
