Information for Donors
Gallatin County Love In the Name of Christ (Love INC) is
a permanent 501(c)3 non-profit organization, recognized by the IRS. We are also recognized
in the State of Montana as a tax-exempt non-profit. A copy of our
IRS Letter of Determination is available upon request; please contact
the office.
Donations to Love INC, both
financial and in-kind contributions, are tax deductible in accord with IRS
regulations (please consult a tax advisor).
Each
person who calls Love INC receives personalized and caring attention by
Christian staff and volunteers. Your financial donations help cover the costs
associated with receiving and processing requests for help, researching
the best source of help for each request, meeting client needs, developing
new ministries, and linking requests with the best resource(s) available.
Financial support to Love INC mobilizes a large network
of local churches to meet needs and transform lives (and our community) in
the Name of Christ.
In addition, contributions to Love INC enable the
formation of further services and ministries for our neighbors in
need. The development of these ministries of local churches inspire
and involve many volunteers in outreach and service to others while
meeting critical needs that otherwise go unaddressed.
Gallatin County Love INC is directed in accord with our Mission
and our Core Values. We are governed
by a local Board of Directors. We are an
independent affiliate of the national
Love INC organization which has been in existence since 1977.
The national headquarters provides guidance, best practices and an
accountability structure to ensure excellence in ministry.
