Faith Statement
Gallatin County
Love In the Name of Christ (Love INC) is a Christian ministry. Its volunteers
come from congregations of Christian churches in Bozeman, Belgrade,
Manhattan, Gallatin Gateway and points in between. These partner
churches all declare themselves to be Christian.
In today's world, however, it is not enough merely to label a group or an activity as "Christian," since that term
has a wide variety of meanings and sometimes even is
misused.
Therefore, Gallatin County Love INC uses an ancient
Christian baptismal creed, "The Apostles' Creed," as a
defining statement of its faith.
All our partner churches all agree
with this statement, given below. |

The Apostles' Creed
I believe in God the Father Almighty,
Maker of heaven and earth;
And in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord,
Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died and was buried;
He descended into hell.
The third day He rose again from the dead;
He ascended into heaven,
and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty;
From there He will come again
to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy Christian church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting. Amen.

Gallatin County Love INC views Scripture (Old and New
Testaments) as the inspired Word of God, trustworthy and holistic in nature,
with the various books validating its content and teachings. The Bible
affirms the Apostles' Creed, which is Love INC's faith statement; and gives
guidance for identifying and maintaining Christian core values from which we
formulate our policies and directives for service.
