Love Stories
What do you call the good news about God's love being
manifested through the willing hands and hearts of His people? We
call these reports, "Love Stories." Here are a
few of these amazing accounts of God's love in action, expressed through
thank you notes from past years.
Thank
you for peace! A Love INC volunteer moved my stuff from one storage
unit to a different one, saving me $30 per month. I had three
surgeries and no vehicle, leaving me between a rock and a hard spot.
Your volunteer took that load away from me. May the Lord continue to
bless Love INC and all its volunteers!
This
car is a tremendous blessing to me. I have been riding a bike for
years. Some days because of the weather I couldn't get to
work. This car has enabled me more freedom and I am so
thankful. This program really is a good one, so I hope it will
continue. Thank you.
No
words can express my appreciation for your assistance at your Personal
Care Pantry. I have had my health, home, job, and energy taken away
due to exposure to chemicals where I lived and relentless stress.
After a year and a half of feeling as if I have mono, I am beginning to
build my health to a better place than ever before. I promise to pay
the blessings of your help forward. God bless you all!
Thank
you from the bottom of our healing hearts for your beautiful quilt.
Your kindness, compassion, and workmanship were deeply
appreciated! Thank you for the keepsake... we will treasure it
always.
Thank
you so much for all your help in these last few weeks: the nice bed, the
washer and dryer, the food basket and the ironing board. Your
ministry truly reaches out with the love of Christ. Once again,
thank you very much.
A
fine person, a volunteer helper, came to my home to move me in April....
When one lives alone it's nice to find help with people that care for
something worthwhile in life. I hope many people have a fine, warm
feeling like I did in asking these good people to help when a person needs
help like I did.... I know what it feels like to be out on a limb.
Your volunteer moved my household goods but it was also the kind voice of
his wife that helped me. Thank you, Love INC. Kindness is the
great gift of help.
This
is sent to you with sincere thanks for the wonderful help this
organization brings to people who hit bumps in the road. I am so
grateful to Love INC for caring for others like you all do. Thank
you again.
I
wanted to send you a little card, thanking you so very much for the
car! It has been so helpful. The kids were so happy and
excited.... I know this is a little late, but I have also started
working. God is looking out for us!! Things are going
good! And we are now getting on our feet. With the help
of wonderful people like you it has been that much easier, so from the
bottom of my heart... Thank You!! May God bless you for your
kindness.
Thank
you for making my wish come true (needed dental work). I feel so
much more confident.... I wish I could do more to show you how grateful I
am. I waited for two years, wondering, and then through the love of
God came you. I am really ever so thankful!
From
a Love INC Office Volunteer: "As a first-time volunteer for Love INC,
I saw that God was truly working through this ministry. A call came
in for a need for a car and within the hour a car was donated to Love
INC. Within the same three-hour time frame, a request cam for
housing. A call came soon after the request to donate a trailer
house, only the lot rent needed to be paid. Praise be to God!"
Some
items donated by Love INC volunteers in recent months include: bicycles,
shoes, computers, eyeglasses, firewood, legal help, meals, prescription
medicine, school supplies, clothing, automobiles, car repairs, ground
beef, grocery vouchers and gasoline vouchers.
In
December, 2002, the Love INC Quilting Ministry gave 13 handmade,
personalized, infant-sized quilts as gifts of compassion and memorials to
local parents whose infants had died. This ministry, working in
cooperation with Bozeman Deaconess Hospital's Chaplain, produces handmade
quilts for individuals suffering from the emotional trauma of severe
illness, injury or grief.
