Local Churches (non-partners)
Throughout each year, Gallatin County Love In the Name
of Christ provides opportunities for churches that are not full partners
with it to benefit from the opportunities for ministry and the resources
Love INC offers.
For example, volunteers from non-partner churches may
offer their services to Love INC as volunteers for ministry
projects and office volunteer work, as long
as these volunteers are members of Christian churches that agree to our Statement
of Faith. At times, volunteers from non-partner churches provide
other services, and we appreciate the willingness of these Christians to
serve their neighbors in need.
Love INC seeks to provide resources to encourage
Christian ministry to the needy in Gallatin County. To accomplish
this purpose, we offer several events during the year, to which all local
Christian churches are invited. Especially noteworthy in this regard
is our Annual Plant the Seed Dinner.
We offer Pastors' Breakfasts on a periodic basis.
Pastors from local Christian churches are invited to come, eat together
and hear from a local expert who presents information useful to the
pastors in their ministry in Gallatin County. At the breakfasts, an
update on current Love INC happenings is given as well.
Our newsletter is offered
to every Christian church in our area. The newsletter contains
information that gives a sense of needs in the area, and some of the
responses underway to meet those needs.
As a resource center and clearinghouse, we offer our
referral services and information to pastors and members of all our local
churches.
Finally, we appreciate the involvement of non-partner
churches that open their doors to provide facilities for various Love INC
ministry projects or events.
(Non-partner churches that are interested are encouraged
to contact the Love INC office for
information about becoming a full partner church.)
Together, we are making a difference in the lives of
Gallatin County residents.
