Plant the Seed Dinner
April in Gallatin County: time to get the gardens ready
for planting. And time for Love INC's Annual Plant the Seed Dinner.
The Plant the Seed Dinner is Love INC's largest
fundraising event. Almost 25% of our operating budget - the
"seed" for the rest of the annual budget - is raised at
this banquet. Held in the Montana State University Strand Union
Ballroom, Plant the Seed Dinners usually attract about 500 supporters,
volunteers, donors and interested people. Not only is this event
a critical fundraiser, it's a time for members of many churches to get
together, to renew friendships, to eat a great meal, and to hear about
what Love INC has been doing and plans to do in the
future.
The evening features entertainment, a raffle of artwork,
a keynote speaker, real life accounts of Love INC's impact in several
people's lives, and, of course, the meal itself. Each table is
sponsored by a host who invites others to join him/her at the table.
An offering is taken during the evening to support the operations of Love
In the Name of Christ.
The 9th Annual Plant the Seed Dinner was held
Monday, April 26, 2004.
Volunteers are always welcome to help plan and coordinate the
event, set up and tear down, deliver materials to the ballroom, and host
